Suzanne Dwyer
Suzanne Dwyer has joined the SenateSHJ team, bringing with her more than 25 years of strategic communications experience specialising in financial services, professional services and corporate communications.
Starting her career at Edelman, she has held senior roles with ANZ, EY, Swiss Re and Honner, advising some of Australia and the world’s leading financial brands across the asset management, superannuation, insurance and fintech sectors.
Jared Gribben
Jared is a health communication specialist with over 15 years of experience working with global pharmaceutical and life science companies across commercial, medical affairs, public affairs and market access.
Before joining SenateSHJ, Jared worked for UK-based consultancies, helping clients to address health and medical communication challenges and supporting patient advocacy groups and not-for-profit organisations to advance the goals of their stakeholders.
Becky Dawson
Becky joins SenateSHJ with six years of consultancy experience in New Zealand and Scotland.
She has worked with clients across a range of sectors including aged care, financial services, health, lifestyle, not-for-profit, technology, telecommunications, travel and tourism, property, as well as Indigenous relations.
Aaron Prestipino has been promoted to Senior Client Manager. Shannon Camilleri has been promoted to Client Manager after joining SenateSHJ in 2021 following a career change from speech pathology.
New Zealand
Maree Wilson
Maree Wilson, who has successfully led SenateSHJ’s New Zealand corporate practice since 2020, has been appointed as General Manager – Auckland.
An internationally awarded executive leader in communications, Maree will lead the growth of the Auckland business, with focus on client delivery, talent, innovation, and commercial development, while continuing to provide some of New Zealand’s most impactful organisations with senior strategic communications counsel.
Fleur Tonner
Fleur has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer to lead SenateSHJ’s trans-Tasman financial and operational functions. Fleur is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience leading finance teams in communications and advertising agencies, most recently with Augusto Group.
Esther Guy-Meakin
Esther joins SenateSHJ in Wellington as an Associate Partner after a career focused on international business, government relations and diplomacy.
Esther started her career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade where she was a diplomat and trade negotiator. More recently, she held senior positions working for the New Zealand sheep and beef sector, supporting companies to export overseas, resolve regulatory barriers and advocate on complex and often highly political issues.
Alice Linton
Alice joins as a Client Executive in the Auckland office. Before joining SenateSHJ, Alice worked at Sony New Zealand and was a Legal Aid Assistant at the Public Defence Service, the largest employer of criminal defence lawyers in Aotearoa. Alice was the 2022 winner of the SenateSHJ Prize for communications.
Julia Stewart and Jonathan Webb, who are based in SenateSHJ’s Wellington office, have both been promoted to Client Director.
