Shannon is a health science communicator with over five years’ experience working with individuals across public and private health sectors. Years of direct clinical experience have given Shannon a unique perspective on the patient journey and how communication and stakeholder engagement can play a crucial role in patient outcomes.
Shannon graduated from the University of Sydney in 2017 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). Shannon subsequently completed a Graduate Certificate in Health Communication with a particular focus on improving health outcomes for individuals through public health education and awareness initiatives and increasing health literacy in vulnerable communities.
