Enlisting internal support for change is challenging but critical.
People who feel they are informed about the details of the change, are involved in the process, and are having their concerns respectfully heard are more inclined to be supportive.
Importantly, consulting with people affected by the change can generate useful information that will help shape successful implementation.
We work with clients to create a compelling story for change using our Narrative Wheel™ methodology. The narrative must be worthy of people’s efforts to change, connect people logically and emotionally to what is happening, and use clear, inclusive language.
We use internal communication channels to help staff understand the scope and reasons for the change, and the process for implementation — including how they will be involved and supported along the way. It is important to give people the chance to express what they’re going through, and for the organisation to respond accordingly.
