Transdev NZ: Becoming the 'go to' provider

Challenge

SenateSHJ was engaged as Transdev’s public affairs partner to enhance its reputation, reduce reputation risk and support new business opportunities - including its ultimately successful bid for the passenger rail services in Wellington.

Approach

We supported the Auckland and Wellington Transdev teams with local stakeholders, including facilitating engagement with media, local government and Members of Parliament.

Outcome 

Transdev is now participating in discussions about public transport in NZ and is implementing a comprehensive national and local government engagement plan, positioning itself as the ‘go to’ organisation among those who control the budget and investment in New Zealand’s public transport.
