CSIRO and NAB Australian National Outlook, 2019

The Australian National Outlook was a collaboration of 40 leaders from business, industry and academia, led by the National Australia Bank and the CSIRO. They sought answers on the big cultural, climate, energy, city and regional shifts that would be occurring over the next 30 years, and how Australia can negotiate them in a sustainable way. SenateSHJ facilitated a series of 8 workshops over 18 months, with participant engagement in between, to define questions, brief CSIRO to research them, hear the results, and debate what they meant – and then prepared the public report. The resulting Australian National Outlook was published as a major contribution to thinking about Australia’s future.
