Hugo has been involved in some of New Zealand’s most significant capital market assignments in recent years.
He has more than two decades of experience providing reputation management counsel to a range of local and global, publicly listed and private clients.
Hugo has extensive project communication management expertise with a proven track record of working with teams to build understanding and support, drive change and protect trust.
He has developed and helped stress test crisis management plans for organisations of all scales, including leading rapid response teams on a range of high profile legal, environmental, natural disaster and corporate events.
He also has extensive public consultation and stakeholder management experience having been involved in complex multi-disciplinary projects, including the owner and insurer’s long-term response to the grounding of the MV Rena in the Bay of Plenty in 2011.
Hugo holds a Diploma of Financial Markets from FINSIA (Sydney) and a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University. He has also studied a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications Management through Massey University.
