Gayle has over twenty years’ experience as a health and science communicator, with a proven track record of delivering successful strategic campaigns for business, government and the community. She has a specific interest in disease awareness, research and knowledge translation, social marketing and the mobilisation of stakeholder groups for systems change.
Having held senior in-house and consultancy roles, Gayle has considerable experience in the research sector with deep knowledge of the scientific, clinical and government processes involved with taking discoveries and products from bench to bedside. During her career, she has advised many organisations on how they can successfully communicate complex scientific concepts to increase engagement, awareness and support. Gayle has worked across a wide range of chronic and infectious disease areas and has a particular passion for the effective integration of consumer perspectives.
