Jodie is a communications and media relations specialist with over 20 years’ experience.
Her expertise and passion lies in developing and driving strategic public education and behaviour change campaigns spanning multiple stakeholder groups. She is a member of the PRIA and AASM, has held both in-house and consultancy roles and managed projects in Australia and Asia Pacific.
With a particular focus on health, Jodie has extensive experience in the areas of vaccination, eye health, primary care and nutrition as well as preventative health and medical research.
As a media and crisis communication specialist, she regularly provides issues and crisis, facilitation and media coaching support to leadership teams and is a lecturer in these areas at the University of Sydney.
Jodie has worked on projects for both the public and private sector. This has included working with a wide range of companies, not for profits, professional bodies and industry associations across a number of sectors including health, medical, pharmaceutical, financial, education and telecommunications.
Jodie’s work has been recognised at the 2013 Public Relations Institute of Australia State and National Golden Target Awards as well as the 2013 International Gold Quill Awards for media relations.
